It is 44" wide which includes any selvedge. Rainbow background, black outline jungle animals. The little "sequin-like" background accents feel/look like the gold was stamped or painted on after the fabric was woven. It is in excellent condition, I see no stains or rips, it is clean and odor free. My home is smoke and pet free though I sell items without knowing the provenance. I combine shipping, when I can, for items sold within a few days of each other, shipped to the same address and paid for all at once.
